Urban Haíɫzaqvḷa Teacher’s Assistant
Yáu. My name is Kalle Carpenter. My parents are Tara Hunt and Nick Carpenter. I am Haíɫzaqv and Syilx and I was born and raised in Bella Bella. I attended high school and University in Victoria. I graduated from UVic’s Elementary Education Program with a B. Ed. in 2020. I am currently working as the TA/Mentee for the Urban Haíɫzaqvḷa Program. As well, I am the Land-based Learning Teacher for grades K4 – 5 in a school of the Squamish Nation.
